Interim support in the context of the COVID-19 crisis (CORONA)

As a strong partner, I support you in coping with the current situation, e.g. B. at the

  • Application for liquidity support by the state / federal government

  • Creation of liquidity plans for ad hoc measures

  • Determination and selection of support options

  • Application for short-time work benefits

  • Communication with the public authorities, as well as with the house banks and financing partners

Coronavirus

Liquidity as the top priority

The creation of a rough business concept

Fast and unbureaucratic liquidity assistance is crucial for survivability. At the same time, however, it will also have to be ensured that no companies receive support money that was in trouble before or independently of the Corona crisis. Therefore, for each company concerned, it will first be necessary to develop a rough business concept, which represents:

  • the extent of the impending loss of liquidity

  • the in-house immediate measures already taken

  • the intended in-house emergency measures

Professional controlling with integrated planning is an important lever for sustainable corporate success. Resilient planning is currently unavoidable. External support, e.g. B. by an experienced interim manager, strengthens trust in the decision-making basis with third parties. We are happy to support you in creating the rough concept as well as in the application and approval process.

Protective shield for employees and companies of the federal government

March 13, 2020 - Federal Minister of Finance Olaf Scholz and Federal Minister of Economics Peter Altmaier have presented a comprehensive package of measures - a so-called protective shield for employees and companies - to cushion the effects of the corona virus.

We support you so that you can benefit from the package of measures as quickly as possible. The bundle of measures for short-time working allowance, the tax liquidity aid and the billion dollar shield can certainly help you too!

In this package, the federal government promises to provide everyone affected by the crisis with sufficient liquidity.

Support from KfW and the state development banks

18 March 2020 - According to a joint press release by the German Banking Industry (Deutsche Kreditwirtschaft) and the Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW), the first phase of the German government's aid package is already available. KfW will make the promotional loans - forwarded by the German credit institutions - available to the companies.

KfW has expanded its existing programmes of liquidity support to facilitate access by enterprises, freelancers and self-employed persons to cheap loans, including

  • KfW entrepreneur loan for existing companies,

  • ERP Start-up Credit Universal for young companies

  • KfW loan for growth for larger enterprises

Companies can apply for these loans through their house banks.

Detailed information on phase 1 can be found here:

In addition, the subsidies may differ from one federal state to another. Whether and how individual federal states handle this, you can find out relatively up-to-date information on the respective websites of the federal states.

Further support and measures

The following is a selection from the large number of other measures which are listed here only briefly:

  • Tax relief

In the event of economic difficulties caused by the spread of the corona virus, tax offices offer various fiscal assistance, e.g:

  • Reduction of tax advances

  • tax deferral

  • Deferral of social security contributions

  • Short-time work and working time regulations

  • Home Office: Grants

From now on, companies can also have the establishment of home office workplaces promoted. Funds are available within the framework of the go-digital programme of the Federal Ministry of Economics. Early commencement of the measures is now possible without a notice of grant.

  • GEMA suspends obligation to contribute

If a business has to close down due to an official order, GEMA waives the fees for as long as this is necessary and suspends the contracts. This measure applies retroactively from 16 March 2020.
